Did you cosign a Bail Hotline bail bond in California without getting a “Notice to Cosigner”?

You may be entitled to money from a $4.5 million class action settlement if you made payments on the bail bond on or after Oct. 3, 2018 or were sent a document called a “Settlement Offer Letter” on or after Oct. 3, 2021.

Important things to know:

• If you take no action and you are a member of the Settlement Classes, you will still be bound by the settlement, and your rights will be affected. You’ll receive two payments automatically by mail after approximately two years and four years, but to receive payments faster, you can choose to receive electronic payments by March 18, 2025.


• Choose electronic payment by clicking here if you want to receive your payments faster. You must do this by March 18, 2025.


• If you want to exclude yourself from the settlement or object, you must do so by March 18, 2025. Read FAQ 17 for more information.
